Easy Chester Micro
Micro is an AC installation tester for wallboxes and charging stations. Follow the device guidance for protective measures and charging operation, including ISO 15118-2 with EIM authentication where supported.

Overview
For a team assigned to AC wallboxes and charging stations, Easy Chester Micro offers a compact way to carry the installation checks to the site. This comemso tester combines AC charging-function tests with selected grid-side and vehicle-side electrical safety measurements. The device guides the operator through the checks chosen for the installation.
Easy Chester Micro is the AC model. For work that also covers DC charging stations, see Easy Chester Ultimate
Key Features
Commissioning and Periodic Inspection
AC commissioning, scheduled inspection and checks following service work
Phase-Sequence Checks
Phase-sequence checks for applicable installations
AC Communication to ISO 15118-2
AC communication using ISO 15118-2 and EIM authentication, within the supported configuration
Recorded Test Scope and Results
Recorded test scope and results for handover or maintenance records
Automatic Selftest
Runs a selftest at every power-on, with functional monitoring of all internal modules and a status display
USB-C Powered
Draws max. 100 W from USB-C (20 V), a 12 V vehicle adapter, or a power bank with >100 W USB-C output
Capabilities
Represents the vehicle-side behaviour at the AC charging point
Verifies that the station closes its contactors and presents voltage at the charging interface
Optional fault simulation during charging — CP short circuit, PP short circuit, PP cable break and PE cable break — verifying that the EVSE stops charging (switch-off time is not validated)
Optional AC isolation fault test — phases L1, L2 and L3 against PE through 2.5 kΩ, injected 5 seconds into the charging loop, to check the charging station isolation monitoring (IMD)
Optional VDE/IEC electrical safety testing — six test cases covering isolation resistance (RISO), protective conductor resistance (RPE), fault current (tRCD), residual voltage (UOFF), loop impedance (ZS) and phase rotation
Exports a PDF report with a PASSED or FAILED result, measured values, the charging communication steps, the station maximum charging power and its MAC-PLC address, with room for comments and a company logo
Maintenance package (ordered separately from the hardware): FOTA firmware updates, on-device remote support (hotspot required, during comemso office hours), GPS-derived location shown as an address and map in the report, and EVSE inspection photos attached to the report
